Noriko soap $6.95
Stardust set $55.95 (Angel’s Delight, Bubble Gum lip scrub, Honey Trap lip balm, Fun, Rock Star soap, Snow Fairy shower gel, Snow Fairy massage bar)
Joy to the World set $14.95 (Snowcake soap, Dream Cream)
Orange Jelly soap $6.95

I’m taking a short vacation to Chicago this week and I’ve been making lists like crazy trying to figure out what I must check out while I’m in the States! I definitely plan on hitting up a Sephora so I can save on tax and on USA pricing (needless to say I’m a bitter Canadian).
Here’s a few things I’ll be looking for….
Congratulations. You’ve waited until the last possible moment to buy a gift for your significant/insignificant other. Here are some things that you should probably go buy now. Like now.
While I’m not one that makes a habit of sniffing men’s colognes at department stores, I have come across a few different ones that I find smell nice so I’m going to share those with you.
This is my favourite man-perfume. It smells fantastiqueee; fresh, but spicy at the same time. Even the bottle itself is something worthy of display. Definitely my top recommendation because I think it would suit most guys who are passed the “Axe” stage (you know what I’m talking about).
Grapefruit, Coriander, Basil, Cardamom, Ginger, Orange Blossom, Cedar, Tobacco, Ambergris.
How can you go wrong with a cologne that has Tonka Beans and Nutmeg as the main notes?
Bergamot, Green Mandarin and Ginger Accord, Cardamom, Cedarwood, Wild Rose, Nutmeg, Tonka Beans, Oriental Woods Accords, Gray Musk.
You’ve always wanted to give him a wardrobe makeover so here’s your chance. Buy him clothes that you want him to wear. That’s it.
Here’s what I like:
If he’s not preppy then buy him a band t-shirt. (Man)bitches love bands.
Nerds, I’ve got you covered:
I highly suggest checking out stores like Winners or TJ Maxx for nice wallets at a very discounted price.
Make him cake. I typed “cake recipe” into google and got a page full of options. If you’re feeling festive then make one with valentines colours.
Or you could always buy a cake or chocolate. I hear the grocery store has some nice pre-made ones 🙂
Give him a massage
Interpret that as you will… If you want to make it extra special, use something like a massage bar from Lush. Lush has a whole Valentine’s day section which includes a variety of soap, bath bombs and more all of which are V-day themed. Most retail for around $10.
Some stuff that I think looks cool:
The Soft Coeur massage bar (last image pictured) is also edible which adds even more to the fun!
So hopefully this helped someone out a bit! Just remember that most guys aren’t picky and half of them will forget that today is Valentine’s day anyway! :- )
In no particular order.
lol so I only have two favs…
2. The Ting Tings – “Sounds From Nowheresville”
Super catchy – I love. The first songs are better than the last ones. The last ones are pretty bad in my opinion, but the first few make up for it! Only 10 songs on the album, I would’ve loved more, but we got some solid tracks here!
Give it back
Hang it Up
Hit Me Down Sonny
“surprised that I actually like it song”: Guggenheim
1. Lana Del Rey- “Born to Die”
Undoubtedly, my favourite & most-played album is Lana Del Rey’s “Born to Die.” Absolutely amazing, and unlike any album I’ve ever listened to throughly before. Admittedly, I don’t love every one of the 15 songs on the album, but the good songs are really, really good and definitely outweigh the weaker/not-as-good ones. The single “Born to Die” is the one that got me hooked, even after the first time watching the music video – (I think watching with the music video had a bigger impact than just listening to the song alone would have had) – I was so intrigued. The music was not like something I had listened to before- I LOVED the classic sounding style it had, combined with the beat in the background; I think the chorus is amazing and catchy. Cannot say enough good things about that song, it is so haunting and beautiful.
As far as the rest of the album goes, there are some SUPER fantastic songs that have really catchy chorus but are really different & refreshing. I love a good Katy Perry or Rhianna, but Lana is just different in the best way possible. These are songs for any occasion. I highly recommend going on YouTube and searching her older music videos, there are some gems there: Kill Kill, Kinda Outta Luck,
Other favs (really hard to choose!):
This is What Makes us Girls
Off to the Races
Just another note: You may have noticed that ultra-smash hit “Video Games” isn’t in my favourite pics! I do like the song, but it is a bit too slow for me to consider it a favourite!
It would have these songs in it:
